Custom Cutting of:

Wood-Plastics-Composites and Non-Ferrous Metals

J.Murphy CNC Woodworking is now offering a “Lamacoid” labeling service.
Not only can we produce the standard machine labels, but we have the ability to engrave your graphic requirements onto the labels. This feature becomes valuable when you are challenged with language barriers and industry specific terminology that the reader may or may not have knowledge of.

We can use internationally recognized letters or symbols to convey various ideas such as:
   -ISO compliance standards.
-Pre-start health and safety standards or modifications.
-General standards for complying with the O.H.S.A.
   -W.H.M.I.S. requirements.

We can also include Graphics specific to your needs to convey work procedures such as:
  -Machine maintenance.
  -5-S strategies.
  -Machine service requirements.
-Lubrication locations and type of lubricant requirements.
-Cleaning procedures to avoid incidents. (E.G. Fire, contamination).
  -Work procedures.
  -Safe work practices.
  -Personal Protective equipment requirements.
-Fire prevention, and evacuation procedures and maps.

Engraved labels or “Lamacoids” as they are commonly known can be provided in many different colour combinations and can be custom cut to your specific dimensions. The lettering and graphics cannot be erased by cleaning, and resist defacing by marking or paints, because they are cut into the product.

As well as plastic labels, we can engrave aluminum, brass and most Non-ferrous metals, depending on what materials are compatible with your environment.

Plastic engraved labels can be easily affixed to machines using adhesives or rivets depending on the regulations of the application. For electrical work that requires a permanent solution, we can also make you a drill template to match your standard labels, making installation clean, fast, and professional looking.

Since we also have vast experience in machine building and tool and die manufacture, we may be able to provide custom plastic parts that you may need for machines and maintenance.
